Impact Communications has been awarded four Silver Telly Awards and four Bronze Telly Awards in the 36th Annual Telly Awards. With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, approximately 7-10% of entries are chosen as Silver Telly Award winners, the highest honor, and 18-25% receive the Bronze Telly for outstanding achievement.
Impact Communications produced the winning entries for several clients. Awards were garnered in the online video categories of How-To/Instructional, Sales, Use of Animation, Use of Graphics, Use of Humor and in the film/video category of History/Biography.
The History/Biography wins were for documentary style videos, “Location of Midway” and “Order of Battle“, produced for a state-of-the-art exhibit at the USS Midway Museum in San Diego, California. Impact Communications managed the production of the entire Battle of Midway exhibit including media production, technical direction and exhibit design and installation.
In partnership with their clients, the Impact Communications team is responsible for creative treatments, producing, casting, location scouting, research, scriptwriting, shooting, directing, graphic design, editing and annotations.
The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. All entries are judged independently against a high standard of merit.
“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “Impact Communications’ accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great video production.”
“It is truly an honor to be recognized by the Silver Telly Council. We are extremely pleased to accept these awards on behalf of our clients and our production team who together worked tirelessly to execute these videos,” said Bob MacDonald, President of Impact Communications.
